6. Buyer and Seller Conduct
For Buyers

✓ Avoid sending money based solely on urgency or pressure.
✓ Use safe meeting arrangements where appropriate.

For Sellers
✓ Use genuine and appropriately licensed images and information.
✓ Clearly communicate price, condition and availability.
✓ Avoid misleading claims or fraudulent representations.
✓ Comply with applicable trade, consumer and taxation requirements.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SanaLIST and Cascade Enterprises do not provide warranties that the Platform, listings, services or user-generated content will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted, secure, error-free or suitable for a particular purpose.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit a right, warranty or protection that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SanaLIST and Cascade Enterprises will not be responsible for losses arising from user-to-user transactions, inaccurate listings, unauthorized conduct by users, reliance on information published by third parties, or interruptions in Platform availability, except to the extent liability cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Users are responsible for taking reasonable precautions when communicating, negotiating or transacting with other marketplace participants.
10. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, users agree to be responsible for claims, losses, liabilities, costs or expenses arising from their unlawful use of the Platform, violation of these Terms, infringement of third-party rights, or content they submit to SanaLIST.
11. Intellectual Property Rights
SanaLIST, its branding, logos, interface elements, original software, text, graphics and other platform materials may be protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Users may not reproduce, modify, distribute, publicly display, commercially exploit or create derivative works from protected SanaLIST materials without appropriate authorization, except where permitted by law.
Users retain responsibility for ensuring that content they upload does not infringe another person's intellectual property or other rights.

Personal information submitted or collected through SanaLIST is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable Kenyan data protection requirements.

We may suspend, restrict or terminate access to some or all SanaLIST features where appropriate, including where there is a breach of these Terms, suspected fraud, abuse, security risk, unlawful conduct or activity that may harm other users or the Platform.
Listings may also be removed or restricted where they violate applicable rules or requirements.

SanaLIST may contain links, integrations or references to third-party websites and services, including payment providers, analytics providers, advertisers and other external services.
Third-party services may have separate terms and privacy policies. SanaLIST does not control every third-party service and is not responsible for external content or privacy practices outside its control.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our Platform, business practices, legal requirements or services.
Updated Terms will be published on this page together with a revised “Last updated” date. The version displayed on the Platform is the current version applicable to your use, subject to applicable law.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, subject to any mandatory legal rights or protections that may apply. Disputes shall be handled in accordance with applicable Kenyan law and the jurisdiction of competent Kenyan courts.
